Andrew Donovan is the Application Development & Technical Service Engineering Group Lead in the Specialty Engineered Materials (SEM) division at Avient. As the ADTS Group Lead, Andrew manages a team of engineers who use their technical expertise to help global customers with thermoplastic elastomer material selection, part & tool design, and processing across many industries, including healthcare, automotive, and consumer.

Andrew has supported the thermoplastic elastomer product lines at Avient since joining Avient (formerly GLS) in 2010. Before Avient, Andrew worked in the medical device manufacturing industry. Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in plastics engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Andrew grew up in New England and currently resides in Colorado, where he enjoys skiing, motorcycle riding, and hiking, as well as traveling globally to visit friends & family and see the world.
